Afrayedknot & Kathylsails: Here is the source informaton requested. I have not yet tried the unit, but it came Fed X nicely packed and appears to be in perfect condition. The source is: BuyHondaOutboards.com - they only take order by telephone but will then confirm from the internet address given. The tel number is:
1-888-681-9073. The rep. I spoke with on several occasion is John. They take orders 9am to 9pm edt.

The price was 898.00 including shipment & no sales taxes. Kathy take a look at Roy Warner's comments on the 2hp Honda. He loves it. There is some concern over noise but from what I am told not that big a deal.
Besides lots nicer not to have to flush the unit as you will a water cooled engine. This one you just spray off.

The information requested as to the Honda purchase location, price, & contact info has been twiced posted here. Assuming that one of the adminstrators has erased the message as it refers to a speific dealer? Strange as other messages have been posted and need to be posted for use to find Ablin parts. Anyway, katjylasails and afrayedknow if you want the info send me a private message and we can try that way.
This is really strange as it was up yesterday and the day before then gone.

Thanks Lou: The problem was soley mine. The number of posts have moved the late ones over to section 2. Was just in a hurry and failed to see my mistake. Thanks for bringing it to my attention. Case of haste makes for wasted time.
