Hi all,
Has anybody ever heard about installing a second spare diesel engine on a 28' flushdeck? First of all, is there enough space? I was thinking of a 30 hp Yanmar with separate tank to avoid fuel problems. A similar outboard could perhaps do the job, but there are a whole lot of other problems with an outboard. Thanks for any input you may have.

Re: Spare diesel engine on 28'
Started looking into a Yanmar diesel outboard a couple of years ago. Didn’t get pass the first hurdle – EPA requirements for the outboard, thus it was not available in the US. Times may have changed…

No, no, Joe, I'm talking about a small second inboard. Thanx anyway.
