Moving manual bilge pump

Post by Capt Ron »

I just wanted to express my thanks to Mackidaddy for the idea to move the manual bilge pump tube forward to remove the excess water from the berth area. I did the plumbing a week ago and it works like a charm!
I mentioned it to another Albin owner in the marina and he did it as well. Also very pleased.
One note though. My 2000 28 TE has no obstructions running along the keel to the forward area. His 2003 has a PVC tube built in under the bulkhead which prevents using the same size tube.
Thanks again for a great idea!

Thanks for mentioning a manual bilge pump. It is something that I have forgotten about. Must see if it still works. Better still - where is my handle stored???.

Have fun,
