Re: 28 TE, engine box cover
You could try contacting the new builder, C&C Marine. I don't think they're building the engine box model any longer but they may be able to help.

Is your old one non-repairable? You could have one custom made, the old one might be useful as a mould.
Just curious what you're need is.

Thanks for the response, the old one has some mould spots all over which makes it look unattractive, maybe you know some thing to clean it with, I have tried scrubbing

Have you tried Tilex, or even On-Off? (On-Off is some serious stuff - don't splash it on yourself! Most marine stores have it.)allanhendry wrote:Thanks for the response, the old one has some mould spots all over which makes it look unattractive, maybe you know some thing to clean it with, I have tried scrubbing
If you really had to you could have the existing box painted (Awlgripped) for a lot less than buying or building a new one!

Too funny, like Doug I thought you were in search of a new fiberglass engine box. Any capable canvas/upholstery guy can make you a new cushion. I believe Bristol in RI was a supplier to Albin.

Yes, Bristol Cushion was the original supplier to Albin for all the upholstered material and can usually match the old stuff exactly. They are not cheap. If you just take the old cushion to any boat upholstery place they will make you a reasonable facsimile.
