I am another new member. Just purchased a 2004 Albin 28 flushdeck TE. This is my fourth boat but second power boat. I have been on the water since my pre-teen years but most has been racing sailboats. Now I have a yacht with a roof over my head, windshield wipers and a heater! The only way to go cruising. I live in Squamish, B.C., just outside of Vancouver.
So far the only mystery with the new boat is how to engage the pump that drains the large cockpit storage well under the floor of the cockpit. Can anyone help?
Thanks

Re: New member hello
Welcome to Albin Owners Group! I don't have a flush deck but my wells drain into the bilge and the automatic pump takes over from there to pump overboard. I'm sure others that have your boat will jump in here.Tobermory wrote:I am another new member. Just purchased a 2004 Albin 28 flushdeck TE. This is my fourth boat but second power boat. Re: New member hello
Albin was inconsistant with their construction and wireing, everything was pretty much "stick built", but there should be a switch on your helm electrical panel labeled Macerator, that should do it. The macerator switch on the cabin electrical panel is for the sanitation system.

Thanks. That did it. Who would have guessed it would be wired to a switch labelled "macerator"?

Albin must have gotten a good price on labels in bulk!
