Can any one tell me any thing about the Albin 26 TE. only 3 or 4 advertised for sale .Think they were made 2005 and 2006.Is the hull the same as the CC version.Appreciate any info

Hi Kiwi Bob,
To my knowledge the TE 26 is built like the TE 28 but has a 8'6" beam for trailering. Many were Volvo powered with an outdrive. They were all almond color and convertibles.

Not many were made, I believe somewhere around 4 or 5. The first one I saw had the full pilot house like the 28. I was told that it was very unstable (top heavy) and they removed the pilothouse and made it a convertible to lower the center of gravity.

If you want detailed info, give Ken Hilton at Standish Boatyard (Tiverton, RI) a call. Ken had the 1st 26 at his docks for sea trials for quite a while. You can reach Ken at 401-624-4075.
