There's a new kid in town...

Post by jcollins »

There's talk on the street; it sounds so familiar
Great expectations, everybody's watching you
People you meet, they all seem to know you
Even your old friends treat you like you're something new

For those that don't remember, The Eagles, circa 1976.

Now on to business. After many hours of negociation, colloquy, and compromise, C. Douglas Campbell (Dougsea) has partnered with me as administrator for Albin Owners Group. As our group grows (1303 as of today) I am finding myself tending more and more to back office stuff and don't have as much time to enjoy everyone's posts. Pete (Mariner) is still an administrator but has been busy with his new family, new job, new home, etc.

Doug is one of our most active members and has been with AOG since June, 2006. He is a true gentleman and his contributions to the group have been excellent over the years. We should all thank Doug for his participation in the group.

Doug can always be reached via PM or email : dougsea AT albinowners.net

Welcome Doug. I hope we don't scare you off too soon. :D

Thanks Doug for answering the call! And of course to John for making it all possible in the first place. Your efforts are truly appreciated.

As a relative newcomer to the AOG and the many benefits of the forum, may I add my thanks, John and Doug, for your respective efforts and congratulations for choosing to share the workload.

Lets double his pay! It is the right thing to do.

Thanks for volunteering!
