Battery lifespan
I have a 2003 35 Command Bridge that has two original Prevailer 8D gel batteries that are labeled August 2002. I feel pretty good they are still working quite well but think it may be a matter of time. Anyone want to weigh in if you have similar batteries and how long they lasted?

Re: Battery lifespan
I usually get 4 to 5 years out of a standard battery. From all the boating forums I've read that is typical good service life.
