Looking for some ideas/comments. Below is my current bow pulpit arrangement.
I plan on making some changes. I have an old teak pulpit that is a scoosh thicker, as wide as the "wings" for the entire length, and 2 inches longer than this one.
My "plan" is to install the larger pulpit slightly off center to the right (ok starboard) so the windlass can stay where it is since it's in line with the chain locker opening, and mount the second anchor (a Danforth or Fortress) on the starboard side.
I may or may not add another cleat, not too worried about that right now.

Re: Planning on a new pulpit arrangement
Be careful in your planning if you intend to use a Fortresss anchor. I bought a FX 37 to use as a storm anchor and then thought I might as well use it as my regular anchor so if a storm came up it would already be there instead of under the bed and disassembled. Opps! There is no way it would fit my bow roller. The aluminum shank is too high for my pivoting bow roller assembly. If you find a bow roller that works well, please let us know.
