cleaning mold/mildew

Post by erice »

i recently purchased a 1989 sabreline 36' trawler; underneath the flybridge "dash" area, there is a lot of mole/mildew residue on all surfaces, wires, etc. also, underneath the built in seating areas. what is the best way to get rid of this mess without soaking all the wiring?

i use a mold/mildew cleaner available at most hardware or dept. stores.

The Fire restoration companies use peroxide. Adviseable to wear a mask when working around mold!
