it would need a bow thruster, but maintainalbility/accessability is probably a little better(easier to get at stuff). of course, it doesn't have as much 'stuff'. might be a little better on gas... should be able to do 16 kt cruise.
probably all done depreciating, as my 93 TE may be. cabin.'s not as nice, but it has acres of deck space. supposed to have a nice ride. like the albin, its a 'sailor's boat'.

They make a beautiful boat but very sparse on the interior, hand pump for cold water only very limited lighting, bunks etc. The engines on the two that I looked at were very small a great ten knot picnic boat.

Interesting you mention that Denis. I went back and looked at that ad. No pics of the interior? Maybe on purpose. Also noticed that the pics are from August, 2005. Not a really great selection of photos.

Dyers are nice. I fact I really like most downeast type hulls.

You never "need" a bow thruster. Especially if you have a bow line long enough to reach the swimstep and a first mate who's worth her salt.

We had that same engine in our last boat (TAM41D), and it was a great one. Quiet, efficient, and powerful.

It's a nice looking boat. But I have to admit that I don't see where the use of modern materials and the addition of more convenience items has really hurt the asthetics of downeast style boats. I find the 28' TE to be every bit as pleasing to the eye as this boat.

That pulpit rail reminds me of the "ORCA"
