Good Afternoon,

After about 40 years of competitive sailing and 4 or 5 boats later I purchased an Albin 27 Family Cruiser last spring in Georgian Bay. My wife is sooooo happy!! We call it "Katie-Anne" after our 2 daughters.

We're based in Montreal so we brought the boat back last summer through the Trent-Severn and the seaway. A great trip! This year we're going to do the Rideau Canal and next year maybe Lake Champlain and the Hudson to New York. Hopefully it will coincide with a rendez-vous.

It's great to be on board and I'm sure I'll be posting again looking for info.

cheers,

tcft

Welcome aboard!

Since we're hoping to do the opposite trip and come UP the Hudson in the next year or two we'll have to look you up!

Congratulations on the new boat, I'm sure you'll enjoy her!

Welcome!! Glad to have you on board! If you ever make it down the Hudson, we are located at the Schuyler Yacht Basin, about half way down between Champlain and Troy. Be sure to give us a shout. Just checked on our boat...still about 3 feet of snow around it...can't wait til Spring!
It's all about relaxation :)

Welcome: Just saw your notes. You have already been around awhile and appear to be having some great trips. Saw you were on Georgian Bay. Purchased my boat from Jack Pady Marine. The 35te has spend its entire life on the bay. The water is clear and nice as Tahoe. Did a half day tour of the lake while doing my sea trail. Very impressive and you can go anywhere pretty much from there. Enjoy. If it were so far away I would have considered leaving the boat on the bay for a couple seasons. However, it was a big deal getting there from Northern Calif. and it so far has been huge trying to get the boat on the way to BC, Canada. Irene has had my transporter stalled. It looks like we may move next Tue - I hope. Not sure what the 27' looks like. Know the 28, 31 both well. Are you able to post some pictures. My boat is at Hinson Marine for shipping west now. Enjoy this great group as I am.
