Greetings to you lucky Albin owners
Hello: My deal fell through - so for me it is back to the drawing board and wanna be Ablin status. Still contining to look for a west coast boat. It is difficult to make the leap into an Albin without something happening on my current Lurhs 290 located in Brooking, Or. We have at the Chetco Marina 3 & maybe four Albin 28te. All really nice boats and they have me interested in the Ablins and your group. Still hoping to get a 28 or 31te deal together and a trip up to Puget Sound. My long time bucket list is to spend a full summer season there. Hopefully, to make contact with other Ablin people and to cruise with some local experience. There are some questions I could use help with on the continuing search for a trade or purchase. I know the 28's are towable/ but it is unclear whether one might tow the 31'. The membeship advise on that question would be appreicated. Wondering if the 28 will be adequate accomdations for 2 & a full season stay in the northwest as opposed to the 31 which looks roomier. If others have towed the 31' would the trailer be essentially the same accept for length. Would not feel confortable making a trip from Southern Oregon to the Puget Sound area alone or without some professional level help. What thoughts do you have? Please let me know if there is a reasonably affordable 28 or 31 on the west coast. My local boating experience is about 35-40 years, but no long distance runs exceediing 12 hours.

Sorry to hear your deal fell through. I'm sure others will jump in here. I would think there is a big difference between towing a 28 vs. a 31. I believe the beam on the 31 is 12'4" compared to 10' on the 28 and the 31 is about 6000 lbs. heavier.
