Love the lighted bait well, since I turned mine into a beer cooler the light would be great in selecting your brand. Hold two large bags of ice and two cases of beer.

Good tips on the modifications. Any reason why you picked green light? Does the color matter?

Err... It looks cool?
I considered blue. But if it burns my eyes, I assumed it will do the same to the bait. Now we wouldn't want blinded bait now would we? I've tried amber, too dim. Blue, burns the retina. Red, can't peer too long. Warm white, pure white, yellow too bright and u get night blinded for a while. Infrared, no diff n can't seen anything in the dark. Ultraviolet was very very very cool... The squids were positively glowing... But I didn't relish the idea of running a ballast to power the light.
My other option would have been warm white, to mimic the colour temp of the moon, but it was a bit boring to look at, and a bit too bright. Green's been the most soothing on my eyes thus far n my baits seems liveliest by far.
Oh, and since green is earth tone, it matches my interior and upholstery too.
Chiefrcd - LEDs lights up cool... Doesn't warm the beer up too much.
