Snow Day

Post by Legacy »

My bride is from Virginia and loves the change of seasons here in Boston. I think she's nuts. Here's a photo of our driveway yesterday and a good argument to shrink wrap "Legacy" in the Winter. Spring is coming!

Well your wife could have seen a snow nearly that big here in the Commonwealth this year. The good thing down here is that once the winds change to a Southerly direction it warms up to near 60 degrees and it all disappears. That looks like you will have it around for a while and I do not envy you.

Last year we were measuring our snowfall in feet. This year, just a few inches. Just the way I like it.

We've had snow twice so far this year....Unheard of in NC! Here are some of the poor little birdies waiting for their turn at our bird feeders earlier this week.

My bride is begging me to hold off on Spring obsession until at least the end of February. Targeting Spring commissioning on April 1 with a short haul, bottom paint, zincs and hopefully a hull wet sand and wax. But no, I'm not obsessed thinking about it already!

The snow has melted and we can once again see our Albin in her slip! Now we just need warm weather so we can take her out for a spin!

Doggone....It is snowing here AGAIN!!! And here I thought we lived in the South. :( How are you up North holding out? I love the pics! Here is one of poor KP Duty rocking and rolling in her slip about 45 min. ago. We have gotten about an inch more snow since then.

We were once again spared much snow. Only about 1". But, the cold has set in. Woke up this morning to 15 degrees. It's 24 right now at 4:00.

We had another 6"+. And now it's 5 degrees outside. I know it's winter and all but this is crazy! Having a heck of a time getting my sea-trial scheduled!!
