Are you sure that's a "Z" and not a 2? If it's a 2 I think you would be # 12?

I'd say you have Hull # 11. I just closed on hull #3 last week AUL32103H889.

I agree with jcollins. A "Z" doesn't make sense. By the way, your boat is a 1989 model, and the hull was laid in January 1989. Hull number 12 is consistent with the post by John. His 1989 Albin is hull #3 and was laid in August 1988.

Y'all going to cause me to go & have a look at my hull # tomorrow. All I know is that it is an early 96 & it was one of the last 32s before the hull was extended to become the 32+2.

My understanding is that these boats were US built at the RI yard.

Your 1990 Albin 32 is hull number 29 (or #28 if they started with #101) and the hull was laid in February 1990. (A=Jan, B=Feb, etc) and the next digit after the letter is the last digit of the year construction began.

The old 32's were made at the Standish RI factory. I visited the factory before I bought my 32 in the fall of 89. I was shocked at how nice the boat looked and how bad the factory looked. It was loaded with junk; filthy; stuff piled all over the place.
