I am planning on replacing the hose of the saltwater wash down. Any hints on how to access the back of the spigot?

Can you reach it if you remove the recessed rod holder?

If memory serves me you can get to the backside of the house structure where the spigot is mounted by pulling the pannel at the back of the quarter berth. Option two, which may be quicker, is to remove the port side deck box, cram yourself into the hole with your back on the hull and slide forward. I do this sort of stuff all the time, if you're new at it have someone standing by in case you get stuck!!

Thanks for the ideas .... I had a notion that going the way of the rod holder was to be the easiest, however, with temps in the teens here and storage is not heated I shall wait until spring. Was planning on removing the other side to see if i could get the kinks out of the fuel tank vent.

Re: Saltwater wash down
Finally made it back to the boat this weekend and removed the panel in the aft berth. Looks like replacing it will be a piece of cake. (hope i din't jinx myself) I forgot to get the size off the hose. Anybody know the size? I hate to travel 125 miles in the snow just get the size.
I think I may have already jinxed myself.

If you have to travel that far do what I do, buy both sizes you think you might need and return the one you don't use!Nowhere Special wrote:Finally made it back to the boat this weekend and removed the panel in the aft berth. I'm pretty sure that's a 3/4" hose on mine.
45 degrees here right now! Melt snow, melt!
Of course...more is coming...
