Hull drain plug on a A27?

I don't want to seem like a complete novice here, but I just can't find one.

My boat's on stands and I want to drain what water there is in the hull but I can't seem to find a drain plug. I see transducer, raw water intake, waste water discharge through-hull, head water intake... ...no drain.

I know I wear glasses but can I be that blind?

She's an aft cabin if that matters.

Mine is located about two feet in front of the skeg where it joins onto the keel, should be a 1" diameter plug.

We didn't have one on our A 27 1985 aft cabin either - had to install it.

don't remember a garboard plug being in my 86 AC either but I did install one.

My '83 ac has one, same spot as Dave's

On my 1988 FC, the drain plug is located on port side of keel just forward of where rudder shoe bolts to keel. The plug is made to receive a 1/2" drive ratchet for install and removal. It may be hidden under 30 years of bottom paint.

It seems like the consensus is... maybe yes, maybe no.

I have to put myself (actually, my 27AC) in the "maybe no" category.

We've had a good dumping of snow and crawling around under the hull hasn't been top of my "to do" list. However, from what I can see from the waterline, the answer is no. I also did crawl all around when I put her cover on for the winter and didn't see anything then. Either side of the keel, anywhere near the sand shoe. Nothing.

And the bottom is smooth as a baby's butt and no buildup of paint.

Now I'm thinking a previous owner might have faired-in the garboard plug or something...
