It's our first power boat of this size. We've been sailors for the past 15 years. Yes...it's getting chilly up here. We lucked out last Tuesday for our sea trial. It was 52 and sunny. Can't wait for spring!

Congratulations! What a great boat to make the transition from sailing. You'd be amazed how many of us sailors now have Albins! Camden is such a gorgeous place.

Hi Larry and Diane, we made the switch to an albin 25 also after 15 yrs of sailing. Have not regretted the move. Love the albin and we can go along at about the same speed as our sailing friends but we have the trailerablility to move around a bit. You did make a good move going to the albin. Hope to look you up if we get down your way.

I switched from "pure" sailing to the 27' Albin82 motorsailer. It is a 1977 which I am upgrading with new Beta 38HP diesel and all systems. Did you consider this transition before the power boat and what did you switch from?

We switched from a Hunter 26' sail boat. We love Island hopping and weekend overnights on Penobscot Bay. We moved to one
of the Islands several years ago,and although they provide ferry service, we felt the need for our own transportation to the mainland. With the Albin 28 we can still enjoy our boating overnights as well as quick transportation to the mainland when needed. A perfect Island boat!
