Oil Change
I use a Jabsco changer which screws on the dip stick with a threaded hose fitting. I can only get about 2 gallons out this way when the oil is piping hot. The capacity is 2.6 gal. What do others do in regards to this? Will I get more out if I insert a small hose into the dipstick/pan?

Re: Oil Change
I use the dip stick hose that feeds down into the oil pan. I can usually get close to 9 quarts out, then I put 10 back in. Never had any issues.

Re: Oil Change
ditto the dipstick hose here too / attached to my Jabsco. Suck out the full 15qt capacity in my Cummins minus a few ounces and replace.

Ditto on the dipstick tube all the way into the pan.
Easy when oil is hot........
Not so easy (damn near impossible)when it's cold

Re: Oil Change
I use a Pela oil Extractor (I could never get the electric motor pumps to work right)
This this creates a vacuum and sucks everything out through dip stick hose
