Albin 31TE ' Pulpit Light '

Post by lawrento »

Hi Albineers,
I does a lot of Night Fishing in this part of the World ... Singapore.
As such, wish to install light underneath the bow pulpit area to facilitates easy anchor retrieval.
Wish to hear your experiences on what brand and model of lightings used ?
Cheers !

Looks like a easy place to mount a halogen light. Wire it to the windlass for power?

Turn the light on - your anchor goes down, turn the light off - your anchor gets pulled....might be annoying when underway!

Or maybe one of those LED underwater lights. That's a very wet location. Just make sure it's specced for above water use.

Hi Albineers,
I've choose this Perko surface mount spreader light .... don't need a bright light, just enough to keep watch the anchor rope when retrieving.
Will take extra precaution, to make it water resistant.
Cheers !
