Dear A.A.: I know 2 people that replaced or added a mast-boom setup with sail boat gear.
Shortened the mast, used the shrouds, shortened the boom, and had a good looking,
very functional and much less expensive replacement cost..Now if your a purest that might
not float your boat..But if the replacement cost goes over the top, it' s worth a thought...
Sail boat riggers and bone yards are full of sailboat rigging, and it can be had cheep
