hi everyone,just bought an albin and had my first ride on Sunday.We plan to see some of Lake superior's north shore and make the boat our own with a little work.happy cruising

thanks for the welcomes everyone.I found my boat in a marina in Thunder Bay without even knowing what it was but I thought it looked funky and was attracted to the dual cabins.Now I know a little more about Albins and consider myself lucky to have found her.She has a 2003 3 cylinder volvo,original I think,with a fuel leak somewhere which I am presently tracking.I will run her with the motor exposed to see if I can find a drip.All I have now is colored fuel showing up in my bilge water.The post about top paint is right up my alley.I also need new glass which I am unsure how to get.My list of fix ups is growing but I have no regrets.We plan to overnight this weekend with a few other boats,including another 25(1970).I'll post pictures soon and I don't have the hull# at hand just now.-geo

Pugnacious-new windows-two pugs and a very devoted wife.It is super hot on Superior these days but the cruising is great.I now have three friends who have aquired albin 25's so we have a small fleet! Happy sails everyone
