I think that seller is being very optimistic in range calculations. I own the same hull but have the Cummins 315hp. Most of the time I cruise at displacement speed dragging a 14' skiff more often than not. Without the skiff I still cruise slow but boot it up for a bit. My seasonal average is 3gph. The 32 has a 260gal tank. Figure 230gal is burnable. That gives me 76hrs of run time at maybe 8kts gives 600 miles, if I am lucky.
I would not want to put those figures to the test on the open ocean.
Interesting though. If all went perfectly I could make it from Bermuda to Cape Hattaras with about 20 gal to spare.

fuel possibilities
I figure I can reach the gulf stream at about 60 miles out. With a little planning and a satellite feed, I can stay in the stream for about 3000 miles and use about one hundred gallons for occasional course corrections. That would give me a fuel consumption of about 300 miles per gal. with plenty to spare once I reach England, or Portugal....,or the Azores, etc, etc.
