Prop Size

Post by Dave »

Does anyone know their prop size and pitch for their 27 with the Isuzu 157HP, I have looked for numbers on my prop but can't find any and the boat according to many seems under propped.

A good prop shop can scan the blades to deturmine pitch and more importantly see if each blade is within tolerance. Generally they can also suggest a more efficient pitch based on what your tach/Kts show. You might review the yahoo site "speed survey". Even if they dont have your engine listed they might have somthing close in HP that you could use as a benchmark
