...for what its worth.i use 'scrubbing bubbles' with one of those plastic lightly abrasive pads. seems to clean the teak pretty well. also, i use boiled linseed oil after cleaning. been happy with it so far. it doesn't stain the surrounding glass.

boiled linseed oil is an off the shelf item
.. i think it just dries faster than raw linseed oil. its easy to touch up with a little steel wool and a dab of oil. i use it on old rifle stocks and like the appearance. can't say for sure if its any better than anything else. it just works okay fro me.
