bow pulpit question
When I bought my 28 TE there was nothing under the bow pulpit I can see rough fiberglass should there be a cover for the underside and if so what is it how thick and what holds it on !

Re: bow pulpit question
Here's a photo of the bottom side of mine ...
Looks like just a cutout piece of starboard. I'm guessing roughly 1/8" thick held on by 4 screws.

Re: bow pulpit question
Jack's picture is a good representation. For whatever reason .... a few years back I removed the Starboard piece which was 1/4" thick and held up by the 4 screws seen in Jack's picture and sealed to the rear with caulk against the hull. You can also see the aluminum "L" channel that wraps the pulpet finishing where the pulpit and starboard meet. The channel is attached with multiple screws to the fibeglass pulpit. I did notice at the Boston Boat Show a year ago Shamrock was using a vinyl "L" channel as opposed to the Aluminum. Call Ken Hilton at Standish to set you up with your missing pieces.
