Decoding serial number of 36ET
I read posts that mention specific hull numbers. Can anyone tell from 36ET serial number "AUL33125J102" the hull number is? Thanks. Bob

Re: Decoding serial number of 36ET
I would decode your serial number as:
An Albin; 33 foot hull; hull number 125; manufacture month date Oct; manufacture year '02.
Hope this helps...

33 = Model - 33+3 Express Trawler
125 = 25th built - Albin always started production with hull 101
J = Month Hull molded - October (J is 10th letter in alphabet
1 = Year Hull molded - 2001
02 = 2002 Model Year

Re: Decoding serial number of 36ET
This is my HIN number- AUL3211ZA989
I get the Aul = Albin, 32= 32' and at the end the A989 = January 9th, 1989 is the build date.
But what does the Z mean in "11Z" or did my suveryor make a typo on my survey and it's actually "112"?

Re: Decoding serial number of 36ET
I would say that the middle digits are "112" and not "11Z", so you have hull number 12 (or maybe number 13 if they do in fact start at 100).
The last four digits mean that the are not translated exactly right. The "A9" means the hull was laid (construction started) in January 1989 - it doesn't mean January 9th. The last two digits are the model year "89" = 1989.
