Hello<
My name is Dickson and I am a new member.
I own a Albin 25 Deluxe circa 1973 with sail rig.
I have owned for about 3 years, and am in the process of renovating the boat.
We are located in Tampa Bay Area.
Does the stuffing box on the Albin 25 make sense to any body out there, I've never seen one like it. Mine leaks very steadily, and I do not know how to tighten it up. I purchases a new stuffing box from Algonquin (traditional type), and intend to install it when I pull the boat shortly. To install the new box I will need to disconnect the prop shaft. Does anyone know it the rudder will have to be removed in order to gain clearance to pull old box and install new?
My apologies for all the qustions on the first post.
Regards,
Dickson

Re: New Member / A28 window tracks question
Hi everyone,
My name is John and i have just purchased a 2003 28ft Albin. Can anyone please guide me in replacing sliding window tracks? Where can I purchase these tracks? Is it a difficult job? Any other tips would be greatly appreciated. Looking foward my first summer on it and meeting many of you!
Thanks,
John
