Hull construction albin 28

Post by Kiwi Bob »

Hello everybody,
I'm seriouslly considering importing am Albin 28 ft to New Zealand (you cannot get a boat of that size with shaft drive here they all have sternlegs)
would appreciate knowledge of how they are laid up and what materials they used, is it a solid hull. Is osmosis and delamination a serious issue. I notice that a lot of boats are lift stored, is this because of hull problems?
Would be looking for a 2005 or later, appreciate all the help I can get. Thanks
