I just had my baby (Albin28)hauled out yesturday for some TLC. New bottom paint, thru hull inspection, etc... and some buffing and waxing which was badly needed! Im also having a high water alarm and 4th bilge pump added. That 4th bilge pump will hopefully help with the water that collects under the mid bilge pump. Im also having them look at the forward edge of the exhaust plate to see what the come up with to help reduce the rooster tail that it causes.

Pacific Brew. I like that. What's the story behind that name?

If you haven't had the screws on the exhuast plate checked for rusting, know is the time to do it.

Re: Pacific Brew Haul out
I did happen to read your earlier post where you said you had trouble with your exhaust plate. I made sure they checked it out and also all the mounting screws for the exhaust plate and swim step mounts. 1 rusted screw was found on the exhaust plate! It's was not rusted to bad, but glad it was found before it got to bad. I also spoke with an Albin owner from Long beach, Ca. that had his Albin 28 sink after a screw rusted out on his swim step mount. Not good! All looks good now and she should be back in the water tommorow!Capt Paul wrote:fuenstock

I wish I had a cool story behind the name, but I don't. I seen photos of an Alaskan fishing boat called Artic Brew, and since I live in Ca. I went with Pacific Brew, funny thing is I'm not even a beer drinker!jcollins wrote:Pacific Brew. I like that. What's the story behind that name?
