Albin model year..?

Hi all,
I had a quick question about model years for the Albin 28te. I own an Albin 28te, the last 2 numbers on the hull id show 06. The coast guard document shows a completed date of 05. So which number do I go by for the year of my vessel? Im sure it's an 06, but want to be sure.

There has been quite a bit of discussion around here about that. As I understand it, the date the boat was built, in your case 2005, is the date the Coast Guard goes by even though the HIN is 2006. When you go to sell the boat it will be listed as a 2006.

Someone please jump in and correct me if I'm wrong.

It is a 2006 model, built in 2005.
