HURTH TRANS - NEED MODEL # PLEASE

Post by Don from Mystic »

I posted recently regarding the ailing Hurth trans in my 1983 27a/c (4d61/Hurth setup). Dealers/repair facilities need to know the info from the ID tag on the trans (my tag is missing). I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has the - model, ratio, and also "A" and "B" numbers from the tag - hearing from more than one owner would assure me this model was used in most or all Albins with this setup. The tag is right on top of the trans. Many Thanks

Don,

I will look tonight and let you know. I also have the original manual I can scan and email if you want to provide some contact info.

Thanks Kim.
If the manual is the one from Lehman, which centers around the engine, I have it. If its for the Hurth - I'd sincerely appreciate a copy at your convienence.
Regards

Don,

My apoligies for taking so long, I would forget my head if it was not attached. I will try to get the manual scanned sometime this week.

My tag indicates the following:

HBW150-2,5R
Nr.:09-3151.2

Hope this helps
