Ed,
If you could bring Filet Mignon & Lobster Tails for the group that would be great, I'll pack the hot dogs and peas.

Great!
How many Tails do you think we will need? Should I trim up the "Filets" before I get there? I'll get right on it

Looks like the wife and I may be able to get away and join you for the rendezvous. Seems job situation has changed and we may be free. Hope to make it to Essex...

Rob,
The Joint Venture is at Snug Harbor - the place is well kept, the heads are probably the best in Montauk (being cleaned daily by the Motel staff),it has the pool and playground and easy access to Westlake Marina for bait, tackle and a good restaurant. We'll be back in our slip Monday the 27th.

Sounds good John, TOY-RIFIC will be dropping down from CT to Snug Harbor on Sunday (26th) for a few nights. Last year we stayed at Montauk Marine Basin but it was just Erika and I so the pool and playground were not a priority. Two years ago we stayed at the Yacht Club but have no interest in the price or the snootiness. I had heard that Snug Harbor has gone downhill a bit but if it gets your vote of approval it's a-okay in my book. As far as the woman at the reservation desk at Snug Harbor.....well let's say she has an interesting personality. Interesting enough that several online reviews of the marina actually commented about her!

Thanks again, see you next week!
