swim platform mount
Has anyone ever removed their swim platform? I am interested to know how it is attached. Pictures would be appreciated.

Look around the New Member section for posts from Katmak. Here is one post: viewtopic.php?f=5&t=2201&hilit=katmak
He added an extension to his 28. That would have involved the swim platform. You can send him a note.

Re: swim platform mount
Just finshed painting my 28te I had the swimplatform off there are 12 bolts that hold it on. you have to stand on your head to get them off. The top row is sort of behind a bundle of hoses. I did it with the deck insert off it was easier.

Re: swim platform mount
The whole platform is thru bolted to the transom with 3/8 x 2 1/2 bolts with large fender washers as well as lock washers, nuts and of course sealer. You need to stand on your head when taking off the nuts, as it is hard to see what you are doing. JACK
