Pulled the Trigger on a 31 TE

Post by JeffM »

Last week was a pretty good week for me. I was able to sell my 26' Osprey and my broker saw a 31 TE in the local harbor and talked to the owner who said he was interested in selling the boat. It all happened pretty quick, but the boat checked out good and I closed on the deal this past weekend. Its a 1999 with a single 450 Cummins and a genset. Boat is real clean with 475 hours. I am going to spend some time getting to know it this weekend. One thing nice about this economy, boats are cheap.

I'm sure that is common place these days. When chatting with a few guys at my marina who seemed to be getting a head-start on cutting off the shrinkwrap and getting it detailed was because they are for sale.

Nicely done on that stress free deal...

Wow! Closed in a week? I thought I was fast. It took me 3 weeks to find, offer, trial, close. Good for you!
Post some pics.

Congratulations on the 31..I'm sure you will love it. Sure could use a few more sistership 31te's around here. I have been feeling a bit out numbered with all the pretty 28's

Congrats, we are enjoying our first season on the 31TE. We love it. The boat fits us well. I knew it was the right choice when my wife went below with our 3yo daughter and they took a nap together while I kept fishing. Withe the center console we had looked at we would have been back at the dock.
