Trim Tab Controls 28' TE

Post by rangoons »

Hi Does anyone have an easy way to get at the trim tab controls from behind. The only way I can touch them is to open the mirror in the head and remove the access panel behind the dash. I can hardly fit my hand in there let alone a wrench so that I can remove the controls. Thanks

Did you try removing the drawers from under the seat and then the box they fit in??? I would take a look at that and the panel under the right side below the helm seat near the floor.

Pop off the plastic cover, remove the screws, and pull the switch out through the hole.

In the future, when you would like to get new responses to an old thread, please simply post a second request in the original thread, rather than creating a new one. When you make more than one thread, the discussion becomes too segmented and is of little value to the members. Also, it causes sever cases of deja vu.

Sorry about that. Would you believe that I didn't remember where I left the thread? Thanks again.
