So, this morning I made the one hour trip across the sound to deliver Nordvika for her first haul-out since the purchase in 2005. I brought the camera, hoping to document the haul and get some hull shots for the group. But the haul-out was delayed for another boat, and my ride (my girlfriend on her short lunch break) was already en-route, so I was a little disappointed.
But then, as I'm walking around the corner I see the the boat they had delayed me for:
Yep, that's hull #6 of Coast Guard's new Response Boat - Medium or "RBM" for short. So, I stuck around and took pictures of it going in the water for sea trials before being sent down to Texas for comissioning.
