I picked up my two pots that were soaking overnight and was blessed with a limit of 7" Dungeness crab. The best pot was soaking deep... 160' to be exact. The pot at 90' had a few, mostly females and rock crabs though. Both pots were about 2 miles north of Meadow Pt (near Shilshole Marina)....
Cheers!
Anthony

Re: Crabbing
Nice crabs. It's interesting the depths you mention. The average depth of the Chesapeake is 21 feet.

Re: Crabbing
John,
Out here we cannot crab inside San Francisco Bay. It all is done in the ocean. Average depth of San Francisco bay is about 7 feet ( including North, South and Central Bay. Central Bay ( Golden Gate Bridge to Angel island and Treasure Island area) is the deepest. Constant dredging going on outside of this area to keep the channels open for the cargo ships.
