Software updates this week

Post by jcollins »

We will once again be upgrading our software this week. This will require the board to be offline during the upgrade. We will try not to "bump" anyone and will wait until no one is logged on.

Thanks to everyone for your continued participation and WELCOME NEW MEMBERS!

I think you guys are going to like this upgrade. It's got a much more unique feel to it. Less blocky, more pleasing to the eye.

I've said too much.

Cool. Thought I was on the wrong site for a minute there. So what are we running now, AOG version 2.0 :D

Thank you both for all you've done and continue to do !

New site looks great, in no time at all you'll have video, live web cams etc. Keep up the good work and thank you, this site has been very helpful.

Update Friday morning.
You may have noticed S L O W N E S S in the site this morning. This is not related to the software upgrade.

We are under a D-DOS attack. All servers affected.

We were down again this morning. I checked at 8:00. Didn't come back up until after 11:00. This time it was a offline DNS server.

I am declaring this latest update complete. Aside from a few logon issues it went very well. Although it's very different from the last version, it was necessary since support was ending in January.

Thanks to everyone for putting up with this over the last few days. I'm taking some time off.

Have Fun!

The change seemed seamless to me, aside from having to re-apply my password to get in no problems mate. Im am a fix it type of guy so the old adage of if it ain't broke don't fix it, always pops into my head. But I have to say if the world were that way we would still be living in huts and using candles for lights. The new look is growing on me, good job. D.
