New Albin Website

Post by JackK »

I just stumbled across the new Albin boats web site ...

http://www.albinboats.net

The 28 on the front page is crewed by the guys from Standish Boat Yard in Tiverton, RI.

It's interesting that they are now calling it "Albin Boats" instead of Albin Marine. Although the old site, www.albinmarine.com is still up and has been renewed through 2010. It expired this month.
Also I came across this
Can I get an owner's manual for my Albin model?
Owner's manuals are $50.00 each, plus shipping and handling, and tax. As the manual is written specific to our current model year, the information in it may vary from what may be on your boat. It will offer some good general information, as well as some routine and seasonal maintenance suggestions.
Nice to see Bo is following through. The TE 32 is looking good.

A very nice & uncluttered website. Looks like the new owners intend to keep making the full line of Albins available, for the time being anyway. I wish them well.

Thanks for the post Jack and nice to see your boat made their new site! I've always loved that shot (your avator).

I am as well pleased for the dealers that will have their line back and that Albin did not go down the path of the Studebaker

Very nice website! I wonder if it is preliminary? Not trying to be a nit-picker, but it says Albin Boats was created in 2002!

See Item #5

I'm still thankful for Bo rescuing the brand.

It is a much better site than Albin's prior site. Hopefully they will add some apparel.

They should make a page called "Read what the owners have to say" We could sure fill that section right up for them.

BTW, There's also an error in the 28TE Specs. It reads:

L.O.A. 29'-11"
L.W.L 28’-4”

It should read:

L.O.A (w.pulpit) 29'11"
L.O.A. 28'4"
L.W.L. 24'0"

Does anyone know why they might have skipped over the upcoming New York show, starting December 13th?

A lot of dealers and manuf. skip over the NY show as it is VERY pricey for them.

No dealers yet.

Also, a lot of dealers are skipping shows this year.

The upcoming New England Boat Show, February 14-22 lists Albin as a exhibitor at booth 1200. Also, Standish Boat Yard is also listed at booth 1200. As expected, Standish must have signed on as a dealer.

Word is both Garmin & Furuno will not be attending the NY Show.

Maybe JacKK can chime in hear - He stays in regular contact with Kenny from Standish.

The photo (which has been around for a while) of the 32 ft. TE on the new website is in fact my boat. Does this mean my 31TE is now a 32TE?
