I had been looking for an Albin 27' Family Cruiser for well over a year. I finally found her. "Quo Vadis", a 1987 model with only 1300 hours. She has been very well kept. Everything, including her bow thrusters, works beautifully and about the only thing I need to do is a little cosmetic work on her teak and a wax job.
I am a happy man.
See you on the water,
Scott

Re: I finally got my Albin
You know what they say - the 2 happiest days of boat owning is the day she's bought and then the day's she's soldsnewman wrote:I am a happy man
Congrats! I became the owner of my 28TE exactly 11 months ago so I'm still feeling what you're feeling and I am even more happier with my choice every time I am aboard (or just sitting around wishing I was aboard)
And this time of year I am really really happy with my choice as I sit back and look out my pilothouse window and watch those wet, bundled & freezing anglers zip by in those go-fast boats
Enjoy.

Congratulation on the purchase. And welcome to the group. Sounds like my boat and your boat were very close in the production run. We also have a 1987 Albin 27, but it is the Sport Cruiser model. We have the Isuzu engine. We just purchased our boat in June, so we are still learing her and getting used to her. And we are also up here in the North Country--in Northern Michigan.
