Penissular EGT probe installation...

Post by tomcat rio »

dont' put it where i put it. its down stream of the after cooler and the gas is too cool. looks like i have to drill a hole in the crossover manifold and put it there. anybody else have one for their peninsular, if so do you find it useful?
its the probe on the black elbow just aft of the large square brass nut.

Our Cat gives the EGT (Exhaust Gas Temperature, for those that don't know) on the digital readout. Nice to have, as it will give you a heads up to something that is not right.
