albin 25 holding tank
I've found an Albin 25 which I'll probably make an offer on. My "Due Diligence" research brings me to a question about Heads and holding tanks. The subject 25 has a head that pumps directly overboard. Sure to get the attention of all the wrong people here in California or anyplace else. Is there enough room below the sole with access to install a holding tank for a pump-out system???? Thank you. Riley
Spent a week on the Hudson-Champlain Canal, want to return on my own terms. Grew up on the Hudson in Piermont during the 60's, would like to recapture some of that joy.

Here in this picture is one alternative for the tank.

That picture is from Albin23 but the idea is to put the holding tank between batteries and the heater and under the footplate at the steering postistion. My Albin25 has a tank of 60 litres, which is enough and very close to the maximum size you can have in this place.

Re: albin 25 holding tank
I have a holding tank in my A25, its located in the seat base in the cockpit on the port side. I had to cut a hatch from the rear cabin to get it in, its a 5 gallon capacity, sits on a shelf I made and is well strapped down. The tank can be emptied via a deck pump out fitting o macerator pump when out at sea. Have a look at my website I think there are some pictures on it..
Best Regards
