Congratulations to you and your wife Gery!

Our twins were born 45 years ago. I remember it like it was yesterday. They were a few weeks premature and ever so tiny. I would hold them with their heads in the palms of my hands and they would lie on my arms with their feet barely to my elbows.

Our daughter visited us recently (returned last Friday to Germany) with her children, a ten year old boy and twin seven year old girls. She's lived there since 1994.

There are a lot of memories to be made in your family's future. Hope they're all good ones.

New picts on Resolution and more

Post by gerygarcia »

Thanks for all the nice comments everyone! I haven't been on the board much lately.
She has gotten much bigger in the past few months.
I wanted to post some picts of the little one on Resolution
I put a forward facing seat (which is too big for her really but works well
with her lifevest on) :D Mounted on pre-existing mounting hardware for map holder and some sail rigging. It's pretty solid and she's secure.

I must say it works pretty well although long trips are still a little tough on her
We'll see how it goes when she gets bigger. We might have to move up in boat size in the next few years or I'm going to have to modify the seating in the pilot house.

Our trips were limited to say the least.
The heat was our primary concern for the little one.
We didn't want to keep her out in the elements for a very long time.
Perhaps the fall season will bring more usage of our boat

Here is a pic of my wife, Marissa and two friends near the Fire Island lighthouse.
She digs the 60's style sunglasses!

Hope all of you had a great summer!

Gery,

That's quite a seating setup, she's not going anywhere! Beautiful family! Best of luck.

Thanks for the pics Gerry, she's a cutey alright. Hopefully we can still hook up this season as things "cool" off a bit. Keep in touch.
