Before we start a poll, how about some suggestions of spots for the 2009 rendezvous?

I would like to suggest

Great Oaks Landing on Fairlee Creek. http://www.mearsgreatoaklanding.com/

OR
Baltimore Inner Harbor

2009 is a long time to wait. How about Great Oak this September?? Suggested dates: the weekend after Labor Day (Sept 5,6,7) like we did last year.

Then we could do Inner Harbor next June.

Herrington Habor South is a great facility. Pool, pool bar, exercise room, bbq's, bar and grill, fuel, store. Baltimore Marine center is great - awesome location, all the amentities above AND close to all downtown adventures - could be boring for Butch, though  .

Herrington Harbor South is very nice - has a Caribbean theme. We were there this summer. Large pool, outdoor & indoor restaurant, ship store and they have live music at the outdoor bar. They also have a trolley that takes you to Chesapeake Beach and other locations.

It would be fun to have something different to do. With the Grand Banks Owners Association, we did a predicted log race. It got people involved who were normally not all that active. You could actually work the course around suggestions here and offer a nice prize. About a predicted log race is still available on the GB Owners website. http://cbgboa.org/2002/predlog.html
