FYI - Going to Davis Park tomorrow for the night. I think you frequent those waters. I'll be on 68 on the VHF.
Rob
I'm out of town over the weekend so hopefully some other time.
Been to Davis a couple times (in the last couple years). Watch low tide. I remember a hump near the entrance where you might touch bottom.
I'll be going to Montauk, Greenport and Shelter Island next week over the holidays
First "big" trip with my little one. Should be interesting!
The Long Islanders should have a mini rendezvous sometime this summer!!

I've been to Davis quite a few times too so I know what you mean. I'm arriving & departing at half tide or better. I'm out of Moriches so I have no choice but to run in low water quite a bit.
Just did Montauk Marine Basin for a few days - Awesome!
Hopefully the Greenport Carousel is running - that'd be great for the little one. Are you staying at Mitchell? Trawler Fest is going on there right now.

Gery, Rob (and anyone else) that would be a good idea, I just got my boat back yesterday. Its been in the shop for the Yanmar valve issue for just under 3 months. Its running great and need to use it...
Just this morning I was setting her up, getting out the pink stuff ect.....
I will be out this coming 4th week..
I will also be posting a "all you need to know" about getting your valve seals fixed article. Its been a hard time not having the boat but I am now back into it !!!

Wow Matt I figured your valve upgrade was done back in May. Look fwd to the details. I splashed in April and have over 50 hours on for the season so you've managed to save over a $1,000 ( gotta look on the bright side )
I agree for a LI south shore get together. Let's move this to "Cruising" I'll start a new topic there.
