An 8lb 6oz fluke and a broken 5th (pinky) toe - I guess a stainless steel bowrail stanchion is harder than a human bone :cry: Click on the image and check out that designer left shoe - can't get that at West Marine :D

Nice Fish Rob. With the limit at 20 1/2" inches here in RI, all we've managed are a couple of shorts. The bigger fish should be here soon.

Tough break on the toe.

Great fish and one of my favorites to eat. How long is it? We have a 19.5 inch minimum in Virginia and it is tough to get them big enough to keep. I hope it means we will have more flounder in the future.

It was just over 26" which is not long for an 8 pounder. Here's an 8lb 6oz from a few seasons back that went just over 28"
