Where are you Peninsular owners getting your impellers? Peninsular directly or is there another souce? I have to order one tomorrow.
I just received new glow plugs and the glow plug timer kit. I forgot to order the impeller.
Thanks in advance,

John, It is a Johnson pump, but for the last two years I have installed a Jabsco Impeller #17937-0001. That should be locally available at most good marina stores. I use the gasket that comes with the impeller plus I lightly apply silicone to both sides of the gasket. Also make sure you install the center plug that comes with the impeller, it's a round piece of rubber and it looks like something you would throw away, I did the first year. Not that you need my imput but, I have found if I leave the hoses attached, I can take out the bolts that attach the pump to it's bracket and I can pull the pump up to get very good access to the front plate and remove the impeller. If you have a small bungee you can wrap it around the pump to hold it up for you.
I saw your article in Soundings by the way, great job. We have a rock star in our midst.
