A different Albin picture

Post by Bob »

Last year I became the proud owner of an Albin 27AC. We had a great
trouble free summer. Even a couple of screw-ups by the "Captain" are beginning to fade with time.

I enjoy seeing pictures of your boats, but I'll bet you haven't seen a picture of a mailbox posted on the Albin website.

That is definitely unique. Did you do the line-art yourself? It's very good!

Albin on Mailbox

Post by joe.baar »

I'm curious how you prepared the surface and then applied the drawing to the box, using a decal, stencil, by hand, etc. and what medium you used, paint, ink, tar, etc. Trying to understand how permanent it will be. The drawing looks really clean.

I thot the USPS wanted a name on mailboxes, or am I living way too far in the past?

Thanks for the great photos.
